1. Thank You for entrusting your pet to us as a valued customer with Just4Pets Grooming. We hold the highest standards to ensure that your pet is handled with proper care and compassion during their visit. We want your pet's experience at Just4Pets Grooming to be as pleasant and enjoyable as possible, however, it is important to understand that some pets respond to grooming differently, even with the best efforts of positive handling.

2. Required Vaccinations and Parasite Control: All animals brought into our salon must be immunized for Core Vaccination (Distemper, Parvovirus, Leptospirosis, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza) and Bordertella (Kennel Cough) to guarantee the well-being of all pets. Just4Pets Grooming must be furnished with proof of Vaccinations and the latest Veterinarian details upon request.

3. Mat Removal: Severe matting may jeopardize your pet's health by restricting air circulation, trapping moisture, and impeding skin health. While mats can be manually removed, extensive matting may necessitate shaving the coat to mitigate risks like haematoma or hidden injuries. For thorough dematting that preserves coat length, additional charges of $50/- apply, as there are potential risks during mat removal which includes cuts, skin irritation, or equipment wear, necessitating a surcharge for tool maintenance. Your consent empowers groomers to act in the pet's best interest, even if it involves clipping the coat shorter, or shaving down than desired due to matting, ensuring a safe and comfortable grooming experience while mitigating health risks associated with matting to ensure the pet's welfare, with no more than 30-minutes de-matting attempt.

4. Anal Glands And Ear Plucking : The groomers, bathers, and associates at Just4Pets Grooming are authorized to perform ear plucking and anal gland expression for all pets. Pet owners must acknowledge the potential risks associated with these procedures, such as inflammation, irritation, or other health issues that may arise for rare cases of sensitivity.

5. Double Coated Pets: Just4Pets Grooming strongly discourages shaving double-coated pets. Should there be a persistence request for a shave down for a double-coated pet, please be informed that Just4Pets Grooming cannot assume responsibility for any potential damage inflicted upon the pet's fur or skin.

6. Fleas and Ticks: During the grooming session, it is imperative to promptly eradicate fleas and ticks from your beloved pet to prevent transmission to other pets present within the establishment and the subsequent escalation into an infestation. Our grooming establishment is dedicated to averting infestations and halting such transmissions. Should your pet be harbouring fleas, ticks, lice, or any transmissible ailment, we kindly request that you notify us and reschedule their grooming appointment. It is obligatory to provide official confirmation from a veterinarian attesting to your pet's recovery from any infections. In the event that your pet is found with fleas during the grooming procedure, we will promptly reach out to you for the retrieval of your pet, accompanied by an additional fee of $100 for enhanced disinfection. Likewise, an extra charge of $100 will be incurred if ticks are detected and necessitate removal. By permitting the Just4Pets Grooming to administer a Flea and Tick bath if deemed necessary, you acknowledge the associated charges. Furthermore, the post-bath flea and tick treatment mandates ongoing vigilance, warranting a consultation with a veterinarian regarding preventative measures to be implemented at home.

7. Aggressive or Sensitive Pets: It is vital for owner to promptly disclose any sensitivities or triggers that could cause their pet distress or acts of aggression during the grooming process at Just4Pets Grooming. Pets displaying aggression or proving challenging to groom may incur an additional handling Fee of $50/in addition to the standard grooming charge. We use muzzles to control a pet during grooming if they display biting behaviours. However, if biting occurs, you must agree to end the grooming session if we perceive a genuine threat to your pet's safety, our safety, or that of others present, as well as a risk to equipment and property. In such cases, you are responsible for settling the full grooming fee. If your pet bites, causes harm, or damages our property, pet owners will be liable for all related medical expenses, recovery costs, lost income, and equipment repair/replacements.

8. Health & Senior Pets: Our grooming techniques are carefully tailored to meet the needs of senior pets and those facing health challenges. These methods are skilfully developed to put their well-being first, helping to reduce stress caused by their increased vulnerability. However, should there be additional/special needs for your pet, kindly inform us prior handing over your pet(s).

9. Pregnant / Heat / Sedated Pets : For the utmost care and comfort of expecting, in-heat, or tranquilized pets, our approach mitigates all potential risks and concerns. We will not be able to service such pets and advise rescheduling grooming sessions post-effect to safeguard the well-being of these animals.

10. Accidents: Our grooming tools contain sharp edges, notwithstanding our meticulous approach and attention to details. While we strive to ensure a safe grooming experience, unforeseen issues such as cuts, scrapes, nicks, or nail quicking may arise, especially when dealing with restless or uncooperative pets. Rest assured, every possible measure will be taken to groom your pet with utmost care and safety. We want your pet's grooming to be a smooth, safe and pleasant experience here at Just4Pets Grooming. However, accidents can possibly occur during any grooming sessions. Should such a mishap occur, we will appoint a vet of our choice to administer treatment during emergencies. Depending on the severity and extent of fault caused by us, Just4Pets Grooming will make decision on a capped amount on the medical compensation. This compensation only covers immediate action required by the veterinarian. No after-care, related conditions, for example, bed sores, inflamed skin etc or follow-up sessions will be covered. This is to maintain fairness and protect the establishment, preventing customers from making unreasonable/unrelated claims. We are working with sharp objects on moving targets. At times, it may be challenging, especially so when pets do not co-operate. If your pet jumps off the grooming table, we are not liable, as the necessary restraints are already in place. Pre-existing conditions are not covered as well – eg. a dog who has a hip problem may feel discomfort after grooming having stood for an extended period of time. A dog with sensitive skin or a matted coat may present skin irritation after grooming. Heart attacks can occur when stressed during or after grooming, if your pet already has a pre-existing heart condition. We cannot possibly be responsible for the results of pre-existing conditions. Our team is welltrained in pet first-aid, ensuring prompt and appropriate care. Any incidents will be promptly reported to you, either immediately or upon collection, and meticulously documented in our accident logs.

11. No shows / Cancellations / Missed Appointments : To ensure that our grooming sessions complete smoothly, we would like to ask for a minimum of 12 hours' advance notice for any cancellations, noshows, or rescheduling requests. Arriving more than 15 minutes late to your appointment without giving notice will result in an automatic cancellation of said appointment. Not adhering to this policy will result in a $30 charge per pet, which will be reflected in your next appointment bill.

12. Pick-Up / Late Pick-Ups: A message will be automatically sent to you once your pet grooming session is finished through our online system. Should you be unable to retrieve your pet(s) within 1.5 hours, we ask that you reach out to us directly via text or phone. It is essential to pick up your pet(s) on time. Just4Pets Grooming will apply a fee of $1 per minute for delayed pick-ups after 1.5 hours from the notification time. If you are unable to personally collect your pet, please notify your groomer in advance about the authorized individual who will be picking them up, providing their contact information and a photo if feasible. Pets will solely be handed over to approved individuals. Pet owner must agree that if they have any issues with the grooming services received, immediate address with groomer or staff within the premises before leaving is necessary, instead of delayed reactions/response, to avoid misunderstandings.

13. Payment: The prices provided are initial estimates and are subjected to change based on various factors related to your pet - such as the actual size of your pet, the length and condition of its fur, its behaviour, grooming needs, health considerations, punctuality, and payment timeliness. The initial grooming estimates are based on a specific timeframe (Small / Medium : 2 hours, Large / X-Large : 2.5 hours); any extra time required due to your pet's behaviour or fur condition will result in additional charges ($1 for every minute). If a grooming session is interrupted due to your pet's behaviour or health issues, pet owners will be responsible for the full grooming costs along with any surcharges. Payment methods accepted are cash or online bank transfer to Just4Pets Grooming. Bank transfers must be completed by 7 PM on the day of service to avoid additional charges. Late payments will incur increasing penalties if not settled by the specified deadlines. Before grooming, clients may request for a price estimate; agreeing in the estimates provided will indicate understanding of grooming costs with no option for reimbursement even if dissatisfied with professional service rendered. Full payment for grooming services must be made upon completion of service. We will do our best to inform you in advance about any additional costs where refunds are not available under any circumstances.

14. Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, pet owners will authorize Just4Pets Grooming and its staff to immediately seek professional veterinarian attention for their pet. I understand that all costs in connection therewith, including transportation, veterinary, medical, and otherwise, shall be owner's responsibility. Owners understand that all attempts will be made to contact them in the event of an emergency.

15. Use of Media: Throughout the grooming session of your beloved pet at Just4Pets Grooming, we may capture images or videos for documentation purposes. They serve the purpose of illustrating your pet's current state, highlighting any concerns, and adhering to your desired grooming aesthetics. In the event of an injury to your pet, images or videos will be taken to evaluate the initial condition of fur, nails, and to identify any underlying health issues that might have led to the injury. By entrusting your pet to Just4Pets Grooming, you grant consent for the sharing of these visuals with pertinent individuals, such as the investigation/veterinary team. Furthermore, Just4Pets Grooming may utilize these images or videos for promotional endeavours, potentially featuring them on their official website or social media platforms. The ownership rights of these visual assets shall remain with Just4Pets Grooming. I acknowledge the availability of the latest version of the Terms and Conditions on the Just4Pets website. Just4Pets Grooming retains the authority to revise or amend these Terms of Service at their discretion, with updates being communicated on their website. It is incumbent upon owners to routinely inspect the website for any alterations.

16. Hold Harmless Agreement: By signing this contract, owner agrees to hold Just4Pets Grooming, it's owners, operators & staff harmless from any damage, loss, or claim arising from any condition of the undersigned pet, either known or unknown by Just4Pets Grooming. It is also further understood and agreed that the terms of this agreement may change at any time without notice, and may override any, and all prior signed contracts or releases. It is further understood that agreeing in this clause will apply to any and all pets groomed. By submitting your details to us via our booking form, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions provided hereafter. Should you choose otherwise, the appointment is subject to cancellation.
